So, now I have been retired since May 2025. It is great! I have not done anything related to my work life (yet). Well, I am connected with FLAME university in India as a Distinguished Visiting Scholar (not so much work though).
It has so far felt great not to think about academia, research or teaching. I am quite happy that I retired when things started to radically change in the university world, especially in this country. But who knows, I might get back into some work later. I will however wait until I really want to do it, and not for any other reason.
